Spicewood, TX (August 1, 2025) On Thursday afternoon, 18 people were hurt and hospitalized after a frightening rollover crash on State Highway 71.

According to authorities, the shocking incident happened near Deerpath Way.

Reports say that the rollover crash prompted a large emergency response.

Burnet County ESD 9 confirmed that 15 of the victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The crash was labeled a “mass casualty” incident due to the number of people involved.
