Sam Karagavoorian of Palm Desert Dies in Mojave Sage Street Collision [Desert Palms, CA]

Desert Palms, CA (May 10, 2024) – 80-year-old Sam Karagavoorian of Palm Desert was killed in a Mojave Sage Street collision Thursday afternoon.

The authorities received the crash report about 2:30 p.m. on Bonanza Drive.

Investigating officers said a golf cart collided with a vehicle at a four-way stop intersection inside Sun City Palm Desert.

AMR crews immediately transported Karagavoorian to Desert Regional Medical Center wherein he died an hour later.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the fatal collision.
