Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway in West Covina

Covina, CA (May 27, 2025) — A man died early Monday morning after the San Bernardino Freeway crash in West Covina involving two sedans and a utility truck.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3:13 a.m. just west of the Grand Avenue off-ramp on the eastbound 10 Freeway. Authorities said the crash involved a white sedan, a dark Tesla, and a utility truck.

Emergency crews arrived to find severe damage at the scene, including one vehicle that had been heavily crushed. Officials pronounced one man dead at the location of the crash.

The collision forced authorities to shut down all eastbound lanes shortly after the incident while investigators examined the scene and crews cleared debris. CHP later reopened the HOV lane around 4:30 a.m., and all lanes reopened by approximately 6:31 a.m.
