Sandra Pomeroy and 2 Others Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 2 [Stevens Pass, WA]

Stevens Pass, WA (November 28, 2025) — 73-year-old Sandra Pomeroy was among 3 people who were sent to the hospital on Tuesday after a chain-reaction collision shut down both sides of U.S. 2 near Stevens Pass.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened shortly before noon near Milepost 72.

Reports say that a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer, driven eastbound by 36-year-old Lauren L. Daling of Wenatchee, crossed the center line and hit a westbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 74-year-old Stephen B. Pomeroy of East Wenatchee. His passenger, 73-year-old Sandra L. Pomeroy, was also inside the truck.

Right after the initial crash, a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser driven by 65-year-old David A. Bolin of Monroe struck the Silverado. All three vehicles stopped in the roadway, blocking traffic in both directions.

Medics transported Daling and the Pomeroys to Cascade Medical Center for treatment. Bolin was not injured. WSP noted that all occupants wore seatbelts and determined that speed too fast for the road conditions caused the collision. No impairment was involved. All vehicles were totaled and later towed from the scene.
