MADERA COUNTY, CA (September 9, 2025) – Sunday night, officers arrested Savannah Bleu Rickman after a fatal head-on crash on Highway 41 near Road 406.

The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 41 near Road 406.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound black Honda Accord veered into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a southbound white Ford Escape.

Moreover, responders pronounced an 87-year-old female passenger of the Ford, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Honda, identified as 30-year-old Rickman and the 63-year-old female driver of the Ford to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested Savannah Bleu Rickman for felony DUI and additional charges.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
