Police Investigate Devastating Crash at Angleton Transportation Center 

ANGLETON, TX (December 9, 2025) — A staff member at Angleton Independent School District (AISD) was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday morning after being struck by a school bus at Angleton transportation center, officials confirmed.

The incident occurred as the employee was walking into work. The school bus, operated by AISD, hit the individual at the facility. 

Emergency responders were called immediately, and the injured employee was flown by Life Flight to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.

The accident caused temporary delays in student pick-ups while emergency personnel responded at the scene. 

However, officials stated that all bus routes still operated on Tuesday morning despite the delay.

This marks the second AISD bus-related incident in as many days. On Monday afternoon, another AISD bus collided with a vehicle at FM 521 and Sally Lake Road. 

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in that crash, and all students on board were either picked up by their parents or transported home safely by another bus.

District officials have not yet released further details on the investigation into either incident.
