1 Dead in Morgan Hill Scooter Crash on 14000 Monterey Road

MORGAN HILL, CA (April 9, 2026) – Sunday night, a person died in a devastating scooter accident on 14000 Monterey Road.

The incident involving an electric scooter and a vehicle happened at around 8:00 p.m. in the 1400 block of Monterey Road.

Officers arrived and found a scooter rider with serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the rider died at the scene.

Police said it is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs were factors. The crash remains under investigation.
