COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 18, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a person died in a horrific scooter crash near 400 North Circle Drive.

The incident involving a vehicle and a scooter happened at around 12:40 p.m. near the 400 block of North Circle Drive.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the scooter rider was transported to a local hospital following the crash and later died from their injuries.

Investigators said speed and alcohol do not appear to have been contributing factors.
