Scott Crabtree, 54, Deceased in Murphy Blvd Accident [Joplin, MO]

Joplin, MO (March 24, 2026) – 54-year-old Scott Crabtree of Joplin was killed in a Murphy Boulevard accident Sunday evening.

The Joplin Police Department officers responded past 8 p.m. to the vehicle vs pedestrian crash at the intersection with Lone Elm Street.

When they arrived, officers declared Crabtree dead at the crash scene.

After a preliminary investigation, police determined that the vehicle was going north on 

Troopers said a northbound vehicle on Murphy Boulevard struck Crabtree.
