Sedan Driver Transported in Interstate 5 Collision [Lakewood, WA]

Lakewood, WA (December 6, 2025) – A sedan driver was hurt following an Interstate 5 collision Wednesday morning.

It was around 10:33 a.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened on the southbound freeway near the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Main Gate.

Troopers said the sedan driver was transported to an area hospital while the big rig was not transported.

Officers are still investigating this collision but said that the sedan was partially rested  on top of the barrier off to the right shoulder of the freeway.
