PHELAN, CA (October 2, 2025) – Monday night, a semi tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 15 and Highway 138 led to minor injuries.

The incident happened at around 9:19 p.m. on Interstate 15 and Highway 138.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Chevrolet Silverado crashed into the side of a semi-trailer after the semi attempted an illegal U-turn. The pickup was unable to stop in time, resulting in a collision that left the Chevy lodged in the trailer and caused major front-end damage.

The highway was completely blocked until rescue crews arrived. Despite the severity of the crash, only minor injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation by the CHP Inland Office, which said updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
