HILLSBORO, TX (June 18, 2026) — A semi-truck driver suffered minor injuries after a crash on Interstate 35E involving two semi-trucks, which sent one big rig into a creek near Hillsboro, Wednesday night.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded just before 9 p.m. to the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 East near mile marker 376.

Officials said two semi-trucks collided in the area. The impact caused one of the trucks to leave the roadway and enter a nearby creek.

Emergency responders extricated the driver from the truck and transported the driver to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
