Police Investigate Rollover Crash on Interstate 10 Near Mini Stack in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (May 27, 2026)— Two drivers suffered injuries early Wednesday after a semi-truck rolled over in a crash on Interstate 10 near the Mini Stack interchange in Phoenix.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 3 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-10.
Troopers said the semi-truck overturned and struck a guardrail. Debris from the crash then hit a passing vehicle.
Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to troopers. Officials said they are expected to recover.
Authorities shut down the eastbound lanes of I-10 throughout the early morning while crews responded to the crash, cleared debris, and investigated the scene.
The eastbound lanes reopened shortly before 7 a.m. Westbound traffic was not affected.
Officials have not released additional details about what caused the semi-truck to roll over.
The crash remains under investigation.
Injured in a Phoenix Semi-Truck Crash? Sweet Lawyers Can Help You Move Forward
A semi-truck rollover can create dangerous conditions for everyone on the road. When a large commercial vehicle overturns, strikes a guardrail, and sends debris into nearby traffic, other drivers may have little time to react.
Even when injuries are described as non-life-threatening, victims may still experience pain, stress, medical expenses, vehicle damage, and uncertainty about what steps to take next.
At Sweet Lawyers, we understand how overwhelming truck accidents can be.
Crashes involving commercial vehicles often require detailed investigation because several factors may contribute to a rollover, including speed, driver fatigue, cargo weight, shifting loads, vehicle maintenance, road conditions, and driver attention.
When debris strikes another vehicle, investigators may also need to determine how the secondary impact occurred and whether additional parties may be responsible.
Our team helps injured victims protect their rights after truck crashes, freeway collisions, and debris-related accidents.
We assist with reviewing police reports, gathering evidence, communicating with insurance companies, and helping clients understand their legal options.
Important evidence may include DPS reports, vehicle damage, guardrail damage, dash camera footage, traffic camera video, witness statements, medical records, and commercial trucking records.
Insurance companies may try to settle quickly or minimize injuries, but victims should understand the full extent of their medical needs and losses before making decisions.
A personal injury claim may help recover compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, rehabilitation, property damage, and other accident-related costs.
