Sepulveda Boulevard Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Pedestrian [Van Nuys, CA]

Van Nuys, CA (April 27, 2024) On Friday afternoon, a pedestrian was killed while another was badly hurt in the Sepulveda Boulevard hit-and-run crash.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the deadly auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 2:09 p.m. at 6909 Sepulveda Blvd in Van Nuys.

Reports say that a truck struck 2 pedestrians and then fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Officials pronounced one pedestrian dead at the scene, while the other patient was rushed to the hospital.

The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Division is investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash.
