Seth Hoffman Dead and 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Extension Road in Mesa
Mesa, AZ (June 29. 2025) – 34-year-old Seth Hoffman died, his female passenger sustained injuries in a crash on Extension Road on Saturday night.
At around 9:15 p.m., first responders arrived at the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle near the intersection of Extension Road and University Drive.
According to Mesa police, a car traveling west on University Drive attempted to turn left onto South Extension Road but failed to yield to an oncoming motorcycle heading east.
Two people were riding the motorcycle at the time of the crash. Authorities identified the man as 34-year-old Seth Hoffman; medical personnel transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
The woman riding with him suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 59-year-old Danica Zunich, did not sustain any injuries.
Mesa police suspect that impairment may have contributed to the crash.
They stated that charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault are expected, pending the results of the ongoing investigation and toxicology reports.
The Mesa Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Unit continues to investigate the incident.
