Several Transported Following Bus Crash on M Street [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (September 3, 2026) –  Several people were hurt following a bus crash on M Street on Tuesday.

Authorities said two officers were parked at the Fresno Traffic Court when a white sedan sped north on M Street in the opposite direction of the one-way street.

Police followed the vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop.

But the sedan did not stop and the patrol vehicle collided with a FAX bus and at the intersection with Stanislaus Street.

According to the authorities, seven people on the bus, including the bus driver, were transported to the hospital.

The two deputies were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, Fresno police are investigating the collision and searching for the escaped sedan driver.
