SFPD Officer Ryan Kwong Arrested in Sunset Blvd DUI Crash [San Francisco, CA]

San Francisco, CA (May 18, 2025) – SFPD officer Ryan Kwong was arrested in a Sunset Boulevard DUI crash early Saturday morning.

The two-vehicle collision happened before 2 a.m. at Rivera Street.

Responding officers located three people in the victims’ vehicle who were suffering from injuries. All of them were transported with one of them suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The accident report noted that Ryan Kwong has sworn in on Thursday and just began field training. He and a passenger were also transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
