Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Truck in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (September 22, 2025) — A 59-year-old Shannon Eskridge lost her life Friday afternoon in a crash with a moving truck on Tucson’s southeast side.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened around 4 p.m., officials say that Eskridge was traveling east on East Golf Links Road near South Pantano Road when her motorcycle struck the side of a truck making a left turn from a private drive.

Officials say that the truck’s driver was attempting to cross multiple lanes to head west on Golf Links Road.

Eskridge, who was wearing a helmet and held a valid motorcycle license, died at the scene. The 41-year-old truck driver was cited for failure to yield. Neither he nor his passenger was hurt.
