Sharail Monic Morgan Dies in Frightening Crash on I-35 [Bell County, TX]

Bell County, TX (July 1, 2026) — 53-year-old Sharail Monic Morgan of Waco lost her life in a late-night crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 35 in Bell County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 11:54 p.m. Saturday on southbound Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 293B. Investigators said a 2013 Cadillac sedan, driven by 53-year-old Sharail Monic Morgan, veered off the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation and struck a guardrail. The vehicle then re-entered the highway and collided with a truck tractor semi-trailer.

Morgan suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 49-year-old passenger in the Cadillac was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
