Edinburg, TX (October 12, 2025) — On Friday afternoon, 4 people, including two children, were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Trenton Road.

According to authorities the frightening collision happened at the intersection with Primavera Street in Edinburg.

Police said a gray Volvo SUV was exiting a nearby school and attempted to turn west onto Trenton Road when it collided with a red Kia heading eastbound.

The Volvo driver and two children sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. The Kia driver was also transported for medical evaluation.

Authorities temporarily closed a section of Trenton Road as they investigated the incident. The cause of the crash remains under review.
