Woman Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into Huntington Beach Hair Salon

Huntington Beach, CA (August 13, 2026) — A woman suffered minor injuries after a frightening crash on Edinger Avenue where a sedan crashed into a hair salon in Huntington Beach on Wednesday.

The crash happened at Salon Muse on Edinger Avenue when a male driver backed the sedan out of a parking space and struck the business. The vehicle knocked down a pole before coming to rest partly inside the salon.

Authorities have not determined why the driver reversed into the building. Police took the injured woman to a nearby hospital as a precaution. Firefighters and building officials also responded to the scene.
