Shocking Crash on Shea Boulevard Led to Injuries [Fountain Hills, AZ]

Deputies Handle Multiple Traffic Crashes, Including Injury and Hit-and-Run

Fountain Hills, AZ (February 20, 2026) — On Tuesday, a driver was hurt and hospitalized after a traffic crash on Shea Boulevard.

According to authorities, the frightening collision happened at Shea and Palisades boulevards, where a driver lost control of a vehicle, entered a raised center median, and sideswiped another car.

Emergency crews transported one driver for medical treatment. Authorities later towed both vehicles from the scene.

In another incident, deputies responded to the 13000 block of North Northstar Drive after a driver sideswiped another vehicle and fled without stopping to report the crash or exchange information.

Both incidents remain documented as part of ongoing traffic enforcement and safety efforts.

Traffic accidents can happen in the blink of an eye — but their effects can last a lifetime. Every time you get behind the wheel, remember: staying alert and making safe choices can save lives. Avoid distractions, never drive under the influence, and always wear your seatbelt. Follow speed limits, keep a safe distance from other vehicles, and watch out for pedestrians and cyclists who share the road with you.

Take that extra moment to look both ways and yield cautiously at intersections — sometimes, that one second of attention can prevent a serious or even life-threatening crash.

Losing control of a vehicle or leaving the scene of a crash can lead to serious injuries and legal consequences. Drivers should slow down, stay attentive, and always stop after a collision to ensure everyone receives help and information is properly exchanged.
