Jamesport, MO (May 30, 2025) – 2 people were hurt Wednesday afternoon after a shocking rear-end collision on Highway 6.

According to authorities, the traffic crash happened along Missouri Highway 6 near Highway 190, north of Jamesport at around 12:20 p.m.

Reports say that the rear-end collision seriously injured two people.

Authorities say that a 62-year-old woman from Gallatin stopped her 2013 Jeep Cherokee to turn left when a 45-year-old Trenton man driving a 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood struck her vehicle from behind.

The crash left the Trenton man with life-threatening injuries; emergency crews transported him to Mosaic Life Care. The Gallatin woman suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The Cadillac was totaled, and the Jeep sustained moderate damage.
