Woman’s Body Found in Canal Miles from Merced County Off-Road Crash

Merced County, CA (February 10, 2026) — On Sunday morning, Merced County authorities recovered the body of an adult woman from the Delta-Mendota Canal on several miles from a previously reported off-road vehicle crash on Whitworth Road.
