Crippling Single-Vehicle Crash near Sierra Highway

Injuries Reported in Canyon Country Auto Accident near Sierra Highway and Linda Vista Street

CANYON COUNTRY, CA (April 2, 2026) – Tuesday night, 2 people were airlifted after a crippling single-vehicle crash near Sierra Highway and Linda Vista Street.

The incident happened at about 5:20 p.m. near the intersection of Sierra Highway and Linda Vista Street.

CHP said a Toyota SUV traveling westbound on Highway 98 crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a BMW motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was ejected and thrown into the path of a second westbound vehicle. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said the drivers of the two other vehicles sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
