1 Person Dead in Colorado Springs Auto Accident on 2300 Platte Avenue

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (August 26, 2025) – Sunday morning, a fatal single-vehicle crash on 2300 Platte Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. in the 2300 block of Platte Avenue.

According to the Colorado Springs Police, an eastbound vehicle veered off the south side of the road and crashed into a tree.

Moreover, responders pronounced a female occupant of the vehicle dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported two people to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
