EL PASO, TX (March 12, 2026) – Wednesday, a person was hospitalized after a disastrous single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 West near Lee Trevino.

The incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. on Interstate 10 West near Lee Trevino.

The Texas Department of Transportation reported that all westbound lanes of I-10 were closed before Lee Trevino, causing traffic to back up to Don Haskins.

By about 3:30 p.m., the westbound lanes remained shut down until further notice.

The El Paso Police Department said the crash involved a single vehicle. The El Paso Fire Department confirmed one person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
