Injuries Reported in Audrain County Auto Accident on Missouri Route 22 and Route Y

AUDRAIN COUNTY, MO (June 29, 2026) – Friday night, a startling single-vehicle crash on Missouri Route 22 and Route Y injured 3 people.

The incident happened at 5:15 p.m. on Missouri Route 22 and Route Y.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a sport utility vehicle driven by a 32-year-old Shelbina woman left the roadway before the driver overcorrected and lost control. The vehicle overturned, ejecting two passengers.

A 34-year-old Shelbina woman and an 11-year-old Columbia boy sustained serious injuries, while a 13-year-old Columbia girl suffered moderate injuries. All three were transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Troopers said none of the injured passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The driver was not injured.
