Injuries Reported in Harrisonville Auto Accident on South Blinker Light Road

HARRISONVILLE, MO (January 22, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a startling single-vehicle crash on South Blinker Light Road injured 2 people.

The incident involving one vehicle happened just before 1:15 p.m. on South Blinker Light Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old Harrisonville boy was driving an SUV when he went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and caused the vehicle to overturn. The SUV landed on its roof before coming to a stop.

The boy sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. His passenger, a 44-year-old Harrisonville woman, suffered minor injuries.
