Siu Mui Ng Dead in US 60 Rear-End Crash [Curry County, NM]

Curry County, NM (August 22, 2026) – Siu Mui Ng, a 67-year-old British Columbia woman, was killed in a US 60 rear-end crash Tuesday morning.

The deadly vehicle collision happened past 7 a.m. in Melrose.

According to the authorities, Zhuojun Kong, 44, also of British Columbia, was driving a white 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander with Siu Mui Ng as a passenger.

Kong’s vehicle rear-ended a blue 2015 RAM 1500 pickup driven by April Lee, 38, of Melrose. 

Lee turned onto the eastbound freeway from Curry Road AN when the fatal crash happened. 

The impact of the collision caused Lee’s vehicle to roll before it rested north of the highway.

Responders declared Siu Mui Ng dead at the scene.

Moreover, the medical team transported Lee and Kong to Plains Regional Medical Center in unknown condition.

New Mexico State Police is investigating the collision.
