RIVERSIDE, CA (February 20, 2023) – Saturday night, a 51-year-old skateboarder died in an accident on Arlington Avenue near Jones Avenue.

The incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. on westbound Arlington Avenue near Jones Avenue.

According to Sgt. Ryan Taack of the Riverside Police Department, a westbound 2017 Chevrolet Cruze struck a 51-year-old male skateboarder in the westbound lanes of the roadway.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
