Sky Quick Injured in Stampede Pass Road Collision [Kittitas County, WA]

Kittitas County, WA (November 10, 2023) – 23-year-old Sky Quick of Lake Stevens and Daniel Rosebrook of Granite Falls were injured in a Stampede Pass Road collision Wednesday morning.

It was around 9 a.m. when Rosebrook swerved to miss a pothole on Stampede Pass Road.

The vehicle went off the roadway and rolled at about 400 feet down a steep embankment and struck a tree.

Rosebrook was thrown from the vehicle as it left the roadway, while his passenger, Quick, was in the vehicle throughout the accident. Quick needed to be extricated with a litter on a high-angle rope system.

Quick and Rosebrook sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

It has been reported that they were hunting when the collision happened.

Officers are still investigating.
