Solo-Car Crash on Corona Road Kills 1, Injures Another [Doña Ana County, NM]

Doña Ana County, NM (September 6, 2025) – A fatal solo-car crash on Corona Road early Friday morning claimed one life and injured another.

According to authorities, the deadly crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on the 9700 block of Corona Road near Organ, NM.

Deputies and fire crews found two people at the scene. Medics airlifted one person to a nearby hospital, while the second victim died despite emergency life-saving efforts.

Additionally, the crash also brought down power lines, prompting authorities to close off the area while utility crews worked on repairs. El Paso Electric responded to assess and fix the damage.

Officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
