Farmington Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Highway AA Rollover Crash
St. Francois County, MO (February 2, 2026) — A serious single-vehicle crash on Highway AA injured a Farmington woman Thursday afternoon in St. Francois County.
According to authorities, the collision happened around 3:15 p.m. along Highway AA near the 1900 block.
Authorities reported that a 2007 Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound when it left the roadway and rolled over. A 36-year-old Farmington woman riding as a passenger sustained serious injuries. She wore a seat belt at the time of the crash and emergency crews airlifted her to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
The driver, a 44-year-old Farmington man, suffered minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt and received transport to Parkland Health Center in Farmington. Crews declared the vehicle a total loss and towed it from the scene.
Let’s Drive Safer Together
High-speed crashes can occur in the blink of an eye, but so many are preventable with small, intelligent decisions. Pay attention, don’t get distracted (say, by texting) and never drive after drinking. As ever – obey speed limits, buckle up and keep plenty of room between yourself and other vehicles. These are small enough measures to save lives — including your own.
We can all take steps to help keep our roads safe for ourselves, our families and our communities.
Even a momentary loss of control can lead to life-altering injuries. Sweet Lawyers urges all drivers and passengers to wear seat belts at all times and remain attentive on rural roadways. If you or a loved one suffers injuries in a crash, knowing your legal options can help protect your future.
Life After a Traffic Accident
The truth is, a crash doesn’t end when the wreckage is cleared away. For many, it’s just the beginning of a long and difficult road to recovery. Injuries can range from minor bruises to life-changing trauma, and the emotional toll can be just as heavy — stress, anxiety, or even the fear of driving again. Add medical bills, lost wages, and other financial worries, and it can all feel overwhelming.
If you’ve been in an accident, knowing your rights matters. You deserve to focus on your healing — not the paperwork and legal headaches. That’s where Sweet Lawyers comes in. Our team is here to handle the tough parts so you can focus on getting better and rebuilding your life.
When someone’s careless or negligent actions cause harm, the impact ripples through families and communities. But you don’t have to go through it alone. At Sweet Lawyers, we’ve helped countless people get back on their feet, providing not just legal guidance but compassion, understanding, and genuine support every step of the way.
