Solo-Vehicle Crash on Route T Injures 2 [Butler County, MO]

Butler County, MO (May 20, 2025) — Two people suffered injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Route T involving a Yamaha occurred shortly after midnight Sunday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 42-year-old man from Williamsville was driving a 2014 Yamaha southbound on Route T, about four miles south of Wappapello, with a 35-year-old woman riding as a passenger.

Authorities reported the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting both occupants.

Emergency crews airlifted the driver to a medical center in Cape Girardeau with serious injuries. EMS transported the female passenger to a hospital in Poplar Bluff with moderate injuries.

Officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
