South Fair Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash Injures 2 Teens [Yakima, WA]

Yakima, WA (November 17, 2025) — On Monday evening, 2 teens were hurt and Yakima police are searching for the driver of an SUV involved in the South Fair Avenue hit-and-run crash.

According to authorities, the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. in the area of South Fair Avenue and East Spruce Street.

Investigators said the teens were crossing Fair Avenue when a southbound 1998 Dodge Caravan hit them.

Witnesses rushed to help the teens and were able to identify the driver, even capturing a photo of the vehicle as it fled.

The teenagers were taken to MultiCare Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police identified the suspected driver as a 62-year-old Yakima man, who now faces felony hit-and-run charges.
