Southern California Man Antral Thomas Killed in Head-On Crash on 60 Freeway [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (April 29, 2022) – On  Saturday morning, a Southern California man, Antral Thomas, 39, and Ava Gonzalez, 28, sustained fatal injuries in a head-on crash on 60 Freeway.

Investigators said Gonzalez was eastbound in the freeway’s westbound lanes near Gilman Springs Road in the Badlands.

As a result, her vehicle slammed head-on into Thomas’.

Unfortunately, Gonzalez and Thomas, both died on impact.

Thomas’ his best friend, who was also in the car, sustained serious injuries.

The California Department of Transportation crews were working in the area and had just opened the entrance ramp.

The authorities are investigating if that may have been a factor in the accident and they are still waiting for the result of toxicology tests.
