Injuries Reported in San Antonio Traffic Crash on S San Marcos Street and S Laredo Street

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 20, 2025) – Early Sunday morning, a startling speeding auto accident on S San Marcos Street and S Laredo Street injured 2.

The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of S San Marcos Street and S Laredo Street.

San Antonio police said a 34-year-old woman was driving at high speed when she ran an intersection and struck another vehicle, causing her car to catch fire.

A 4-year-old passenger in her car, not properly secured, was hospitalized in critical condition. The other driver, a 40-year-old woman, also suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Authorities said the suspect was under the influence and had been arrested on charges of intoxication, assault, and child endangerment.
