Stanley Porterfield Killed on Highway 17 Motorcycle Crash in Soap Lake

 
Soap Lake, WA (July 6, 2020) – On Sunday morning, 75-year-old Stanley Porterfield, of Coulee City, died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 17.
 
The accident happened after 10 a.m. on July 5. According to reports, Porterfield was riding his bike on the southbound shoulder then he attempted to cross the highway onto Moore Road, where he was struck by a southbound motorcycle.
 
Emergency crews airlifted him to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee but later pronounced dead.
 
Meanwhile, the motorcycle driver, Andrew Reeves, 55, of Phoenix, Arizona, then transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake with unspecified injuries. Moreover, he is not expected to face any charges in the accident.
