32-Year-Old Starlyn Staley Arrested in DWI Crash on St. Michaels Drive [Santa Fe, NM]

Santa Fe, NM (September 3, 2025) – Police charged 32-year-old Starlyn Staley of Bloomfield with DWI after she drove the wrong way on St. Michaels Drive and caused a serious crash Friday night.

According to Santa Fe Police, Staley collided with another vehicle near Warner Avenue. The victim, a 53-year-old woman, suffered broken legs and was rushed to the hospital.

Dash cam video showed Staley admitting she had been drinking before getting behind the wheel. Officers noted she struggled to stand and required assistance before being taken to a hospital for evaluation and a blood draw.

Authorities charged Staley with causing great bodily harm by vehicle, reckless driving, and driving with an expired license.
