GARLAND, TX (June 23, 2026) – Monday, a startling 18-wheeler crash on Interstate 30 sent 4 people to the hospital.

The incident involving an 18-wheeler and another vehicle happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 30.

An 18-wheeler struck the center concrete barrier, causing its cargo of large paper rolls to spill into the eastbound lanes, where an SUV collided with the debris.

The SUV was occupied by four people, including two children. All four occupants were transported to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

The interstate remained closed for nearly 11 hours following the crash and reopened shortly after 9 a.m.

Reports confirmed that the incident remains under investigation.
