LAREDO, TX (November 6, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a startling 2-vehicle crash on 1300 Interstate 35 South injured two people.

The incident happened at around 5:05 p.m. in the 1300 block of Interstate 35 South.

According to reports, a maroon Honda CR-V struck a marked Laredo Police unit that was transporting two detainees to the Webb County Jail.

Moreover, responders transported the two detainees to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, officers cited the driver of the Honda for failure to control speed.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
