Injuries Reported in Grand Junction Auto Accident on Patterson Road and Meander Drive

GRAND JUNCTION, CO (July 12, 2026) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling 2-vehicle crash on Patterson Road and Meander Drive sent 4 to the hospital.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at about 3:00 p.m. on Patterson Road and Meander Drive.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, a passenger vehicle traveling westbound on Patterson Road crossed into oncoming eastbound traffic and collided with a sport utility vehicle.

Four people were transported to the hospital. Police said the three occupants of the SUV sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the passenger vehicle suffered suspected serious injuries.

All eastbound lanes of Patterson Road were closed as officers investigated the crash.

Police said traffic was expected to be affected for at least another hour and advised motorists to use alternate routes.
