GARFIELD COUNTY, CO (February 5, 2026) – Tuesday morning, a person was hospitalized after a startling 2-vehicle crash on US Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 67.

The incident involving two vehicles occurred at about 8:25 a.m. on the westbound US Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 67.

The extent of injuries is unclear, but at least one person was taken to the hospital.

CSP said a detour was set up at milepost 72. The roadway reopened around 11:15 a.m.
