Woman Killed and 4 Injured in Startling 3-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 62 [Jasper County, TX]

1 Dead and 4 Hurt in Jasper County Multi-Vehicle Accident on State Highway 62

JASPER COUNTY, CA (March 8, 2026) – Friday night, a woman died, and 4 people were injured in a startling 3-vehicle crash on State Highway 62.

The incident involving three vehicles happened at about 8:00 p.m. on State Highway 62, just inside the Jasper County Line.

Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Harvard said one woman died in the crash and a juvenile girl suffered critical injuries.

Three others, an adult woman, an adult man, and a juvenile boy, were reported to have minor injuries.

Authorities had not released any identities.

The sheriff’s office said sections of the road in both counties were expected to remain closed for some time as of around 8:45 p.m. Drivers were advised to avoid the area. The Texas Department of Public Safety was investigating the crash.
