GARFIELD COUNTY, CO (June 14, 2026) – Friday afternoon, a startling 3-vehicle crash on US Interstate 70 at Milepost 123 sent 1 person to the hospital.

The incident involving three vehicles occurred at about 1:52 p.m. on the eastbound US Interstate 70 at milepost 123.

After the crash, at least one person was taken to a nearby hospital, according to Colorado State Patrol.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

All eastbound lanes were closed following the collision. The Colorado Department of Transportation later reported that the roadway had reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
