LAREDO, TX (March 4, 2026) – Tuesday morning, a woman riding an SUV fell following a startling auto accident near Santander and Castro Urdiales.

The incident happened at 8:09 a.m. near Santander and Castro Urdiales.

Laredo police initially reported that a woman fell from a moving El Metro bus and may have hit her head on the concrete near Santander and Castro Urdiales.

In an update issued at 9:23 a.m., patrol supervisors said their investigation found the bus had stopped to assist the woman, who had fallen from an SUV.
