COLUMBIA, MO (March 9, 2026) – Sunday morning, a man and a woman sustained injuries in a startling auto accident on Anchorage Road and Coffee Road.

The incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. on Anchorage Road, just east of Coffee Road, the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report revealed.

A 1989 Lincoln Town Car traveling west left the right side of the roadway and crashed into a tree, according to the report.

A 29-year-old man from Versailles was driving, with a 46-year-old woman from Gravois Mills as a passenger.

Both were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The report said the man was not wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle was totaled.
