Burleson Vehicle Crash on Wilshire Boulevard and Summercrest Boulevard

BURLESON, TX (October 22, 2023) – Friday morning, a startling auto accident on Wilshire Boulevard and Summercrest Boulevard led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 8:09 a.m. on Wilshire Boulevard and Summercrest Boulevard.

Then, the emergency responders from Burleson Fire/EMS and the Burleson Police Department responded to the scene.

When they arrived, they found a passenger vehicle bearing substantial damage and an overturned school bus.

Then, rescue personnel from Burleson Fire Department extricated an individual trapped inside the vehicle. Subsequently, responders airlifted this individual to a Fort Worth trauma center via CareFlite for medical attention.

Moreover, the bus driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. After receiving immediate medical care, responders took the bus driver to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
