CLAY COUNTY, MO (July 21, 2026) – Monday morning, a startling box truck crash on Interstate 35 and Mile Marker 27.8 injured two people.

The incident happened at around 5:45 a.m. on Interstate 35 and Mile Marker 27.8.

According to reports, a southbound box truck veered into the left side of the road and crashed into a guardrail before it overturned.

Moreover, responders rushed the female driver of the truck to a Liberty Hospital with serious injuries. Then, paramedics transported the 36-year-old male passenger of the vehicle to Liberty Hospital with minor injuries.
